WHERE TO GO FOR HELP

Diagnosing plant diseases is not an easy task. There are several places where you can go for help in diagnosing plant diseases.

First try your county Extension horticulture or agriculture agent. Many agents have excellent backgrounds in plant disease diagnosis.

If your agent is unable to answer your questions, contact the Plant Disease Diagnostics Clinic (PDDC) at the address/telephone number/email address on this slide. For a small fee, staff at the PDDC can look at your plant, determine the cause of the disease problem, and provide information on how to control or prevent the disease.

Also check out the PDDC web site at:

This site describes the PDDC and its services, and provides information on common diseases and their control.
