SYMPTOMS OF PHYTOPLASMA DISEASES

Symptoms associated with phytoplasma infections are truly bizarre. One of the most common symptoms is VIRESCENCE, where normally colored plant parts (such as flowers) are green in color. Another common symptom is BROOMING, where plant parts become overly branched and bushy. The coneflower on the right in this photo shows both symptoms.
