SYMPTOMS OF DAMAGE DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS

On the other end of the spectrum are HEAT INJURIES. In this case the temperature in a ginseng garden got high enough to lead to tissue damage. The papery, almost transparent appearance of the damaged tissue of these plants suggests that a pathogen is NOT involved. As with COLD INJURY, knowing the weather conditions prior to the onset of symptoms can be critical in identifying the cause of this disorder.
