DISEASES OF ALFALFA - VERTICILLIUM WILT

Leaflets on infected branches initially show a V-shaped yellowing (with the point of the V towards the attachment point of the leaflet). Eventually, these leaflets turn a pinkish tan, and cup and twist (see white arrows in photo). Death of the entire branch and then the entire plant follows.
