DISEASES OF SOYBEAN – VIRUS DISEASES/GREEN STEM SYNDROME

In addition to their blotchy leaf color, virus-infected plants often have distorted pods that do not fill completely (see black arrow in photo above). Also, watch for plants with purple leaf blades (see white arrow in photo above) or petioles. These symptoms can be clues that viruses are present.
